Orca the Lagotto Romagnolo wins Crufts 2023 top prize

The most prestigious prize of Crufts was revealed tonight. The best dogs from each breed category faced off in a live TV show to win the ultimate title of top dog. The head judge of Crufts decided who would be the Best in Show.

The seven finalists were the winners of the Gundog, Working, Pastoral, Terrier, Hound, Utility and Toy dogs categories. They were:

Orca the Lagotto Romagnolo (Gundog), Archie the Dobermann (working), Blondie the English Sheepdog (Pastoral), Blanca Wire Fox Terrier, Paris the Irish Wolfhound (Hounds), Jake the Standard Poodle (Utility) and Dublin the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Toy).

The audience at the Birmingham NEC cheered as the finalists strutted their stuff. After a tough decision, the Best in Show award for 2023 went to Orca the Lagotto Romagnolo.
